To start Skype for Windows 10 - select the ‘Start menu’. This is located on the bottom left of your screen. You can also scroll down the A-Z list and find Skype through there or search for Skype using the Cortana search bar. If you have a microphone enabled on your computer, you can use Cortana by giving it a vocal command.

One of the fastest ways to open Skype in Windows 10 is to search for it. Type skype in the search field on your taskbar, select Skype from the results list and then click or tap on Open.

If you already have a Skype or Microsoft account: Open Skype and click or tap Skype name, email or phone. Enter your Skype name, email or phone and select Sign in. Enter your password and select the arrow to continue. You’re now signed in to Skype.
